Ironmongery – Hockerill Anglo European College

M Brock are proud to announce a successful completion of a large-scale project at a co-educational day and boarding school down in Bishop’s Stortford, Hockerill Anglo-European College .
🚪 We supplied and delivered 350+ door packs which included commercial ironmongery, bespoke signage, fingerplates and kickplates.
In addition, we supplied over 300+ Cam Action, Overhead and Electromagnetic Hold Open Door Closers including the relevant Power Supplies

Acoustic Door Replacement – Harold Pinter Theatre

Another great project complete ✔️ M Brock have just supplied and decorated this Acoustic Double Fire Exit Door at The Harold Pinter Theatre in the central London, working closely with our highly valued customer to deliver all work at the highest standard.

Acoustic doors are a great way to ensure that details of private meetings are not heard by people outside the room. They also minimise the noise entering a room when quiet is essential. Areas that would benefit from using acoustic doors due to their high degree of noise insulation include studios, schools, and offices.

Security Shutters – Stoke Ferry, Norfolk

Fire Exit Gates – Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

M Brock have recently replaced the old, open metal frame gate with a brand new solid, aluminium gate for a
community hall.

The previous gate was a simple mesh design, allowing full visibility into the hall and easy access, this
wasn’t
suitable for the customer. Therefore, we installed a more secure, private, and durable gate with a bespoke
logo
shield.

Pedestrian Barriers – Eye, Suffolk

M Brock can design, supply, and install Pedestrian Barriers to suit your needs, whether tailor-made to each
order
or off-the-shelf. 🚧

These barriers were recently installed in a local logistics company’s warehouse to enhance safety and protect
against accidental damage.

Steel Door Replacement – Dartford, Kent

Another security door successfully installed! This project required careful consideration due to the
high-wind
location. To ensure durability and reliable operation, we installed an LCN closer track arm on the exterior
while keeping the body undercover for added protection against the elements.

Glazed Aluminium Section Doors – London, Battersea

Two single glazed aluminium section doors fitted over the weekend to the customer’s bespoke requirements in
the
heart of London’s Battersea.

Roller Shutter Replacement – Newtown, Wales

M Brock Ltd were commissioned to supply and install new insulated roller shutters for CellPath Ltd in
Newtown,

Replacement Steel Doors – Kings Lynn, Norfolk

We had the pleasure of replacing an existing fire exit door for an EE store in Norfolk with a new steel fire
door
made to customers requirements.

Sacrificial Barriers – Eye, Suffolk

M Brock was approached by a local company facing a recurring issue with their industrial door, where pallets
were
frequently pushed against it, causing severe damage to the roller shutter lath. Tasked with finding a
solution,
our engineers designed and installed a sacrificial barrier to address the problem effectively.

The barrier consists of a bi-folding gate that protects the pedestrian walkway while ensuring pallets remain
confined to one side of the roller shutter, significantly reducing the potential for damage. To enhance
visibility and safety, the design incorporates a 2-ton plastic chain in red and white, creating a clear
sightline. When smaller pallets pass under the barrier, only the white chain remains visible, providing an
additional visual cue for operators.
