Our collection of sash furniture is available in various finishes designed to flawlessly match the rest of our products. Fitted to the base of a sash window, typically in pairs, to aid the opening and closing of the bottom sash. Sold in singles. Supplied with matching SS wood screws. Polished Bronze is a bright, highly reflective finish with an abundance of character and warmth. This finish really pops when used in contemporary settings with bold colourways, adding visual interest and contrast. Our Polished Bronze is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The finish is first aged, then repolished to create subtle contrast between the lighter surface areas and darker patina which gathers around the edges and recesses. To preserve the bright, reflective finish a durable lacquer is applied during the final stages of manufacturing. Bronze will naturally darken over time, however the bright reflective finish can be restored by polishing with a beeswax based furniture polish if desired. Click to learn more about this Finish.
