Automatic Entrance Doors
Another successful job which consisted of replacing and automating main entrance doors 📢
👉Phase 1 – Provide a Power Supply to the location.
👉Phase 2 – Install Black Aluminium Doors with Clients Decal on the glass.
👉Phase 3 – Implement the Automation with Safety features such as pedestrian barriers and activation sensors.
Sacrificial Barriers
M Brock were approached by a local company who had a recurring problem with their Industrial Door, where pallets were being forced against them causing server damage to the Roller Shutter Lath.
We were asked to find a solution. 🤔
So our engineers designed and installed a Sacrificial Barrier.
The Barrier is a Bi-Folding Gate which protects the pedestrian walkway but at the same time ensures that the pallets are only on one side of the Roller Shutter reducing the damage that they can cause. 🚧
The design includes a 2-ton plastic chain which creates a site line, in this case it is white and red. When the pallets are small enough to fit under the barrier, the white chain would be the only one visible.

Pedestrian Barriers
💡Pedestrian barriers are used for separation and protection. They can be used to separate pedestrians from vehicular traffic or to protect pedestrians from moving vehicles.
💡Pedestrian barriers are also used as safety devices in areas where there is a high risk of pedestrians being injured by vehicles.

Roller Shutters
M Brock Ltd were commissioned to supply and install new insulated roller shutters in Newtown, Wales
Consisting of metal slats with insulating materials in between, offering both thermal insulation and security benefits. These shutters can be rolled up or down to control heat loss or gain and provide an additional layer of protection for homes and businesses.
Our Senior Engineer, Grant Tomkins managed the project from the delivery to the final installation.
Aluminium Doors
Issue: 2 x rotten timber doors with poor accessibility and security
Resolution: We have installed 2 x aluminium glazed doors with one of them with a push pad and another with a fitted sensor.
Smart access controls were also installed to both doors 💥.
Steel Doors
Another security door installed successfully – LCN closer track arm outside but body undercover due to high wind location.
